Review of Lucky Balls Casino

When I first heard of the name Lucky Balls Casino, I will admit that my mind instantly went to a dirty place. When opening up the casino's website, I was greeted by a Mediterranean looking island vista with a flag in the foreground that says "Do you have the balls?" At least we're on the same page, then! While I wasn't blown away by my experience with Lucky Balls, it does offer a solid experience for those who enjoy slots in particular.

Games and software selection

Lucky Balls Casino has its games supplied by B3W, iGaming2Go, NextGen, Net Entertainment and Microgaming via its Quickfire platform. The casino is accessible through a web-based interface so you are able to play directly through your web browser or their mobile site through smartphones and tablets. Registering for the casino was a pretty simple process, as I was able to submit all of my personal information within about a minute or so, and I was able to avail myself of depositing and playing the games shortly after.

Given the name and choice of logo, I was half expecting a heavy emphasis on bingo and other 'ball' related games. However, slots are the main feature at Lucky Balls and you will find a large selection of slots from the above-mentioned developers. In fact there are far more games on offer than you might infer from looking at the website, which to put it bluntly, isn't very well designed. You have a 4x4 grid of slot machine logos, which can be changed or filtered by clicking on game type tabs and/or game themes and features like "Action" or "5 reels". What I only discovered by accident is that you can actually scroll the grid of games to see more games within your chosen categories. There is no scrollbar or any other kind of indicator that you can do this. Before I worked it out I was actually hunting around for an "all games" link or something that would allow me to see everything the casino has to offer. There is a quick search box that allows you to search for games by title but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have all the games indexed. I could see, for example, the logos for Thunderstruck II and Game of Thrones, but no combination of letters in the search box could find either game, or any other of the Microgaming Quickfire titles for that matter. And seeing as you can't filter by developer, nor are the games arranged in any discernible order, it can be very hard to find a specific game.

The casino also offers live dealer games which include keno, dice, and a Texas Hold'em poker game where you can bet on which hand of 6 will win, along with specific hand combinations. Refreshing as it is to see something different once in a while, it is nevertheless sorely lacking traditional live casino favourites such as Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette. The table games department is also lacking, with only a handful of games on offer: a few Roulette variants, Blackjack, and Baccarat. The overall presentation of these games comes up short, making them wear thin pretty quickly. The same goes for the video poker and lottery games, all of which left me wanting to go back to the slots.

Banking and Customer Support

Lucky Balls Casino offers healthy variety of payment options to players including credit cards, wire options, e-Wallets, and more. The casino implements a withdrawal limit of between €2,500 to €5,000 per week depending on the method of withdrawal. Unfortunately progressive jackpot win payments are not exempt from this policy and are, in fact, even worse. Progressive wins in excess of €50,000 will result in monthly payments of €5,000, rather than paying the win in one lump sum. In addition all withdrawals are held for a 48 hour pending period, and you can reverse and play with your funds at any time during this period. On a positive note, all deposits and withdrawals are fee-free, and I was paid within a few hours to Neteller after the 48 hour wait and identity verification procedure.

Customer service is available through telephone, email, and instant message, with staff standing by to assist you between 7am and 11pm GMT. When I ended up trying my hand at using the service feature, there was only one rep to speak with. Although she was fast to pick up, the rep was slow to respond, but she was able to offer the answers I needed in regard to certain games and services. The phone feature is pretty cool, as you leave your phone number and the casino calls you, rather than the other way round, which means they pick up the tab.

Security, fairness, and responsible gaming

Lucky Balls Casino protects players by offering SSL encryption to all data that is being transmitted both to and from the casino, giving players the security of knowing that their information is safe from prying eyes. The casino also touts its fairness, utilising audits from independent testing service iTech Labs and using dispute resolution services from the UK based IBAS. These services, in addition to licensing by both the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission give Lucky Balls Casino credibility when it comes to keeping their software fair to players. They also state that, as per UKGC regulations, player funds held at the casino are are segregated from operational funds.

Responsible Gaming is covered at Lucky Balls, in the form of a dedicated page to help players understand the symptoms of problem gambling, providing times when gamblers shouldn't wager and ways to identify if you have a problem, while also providing links to organisations that can help if you need it. You can set limits on your deposits, wagering and time spent at the casino in the account settings section of the website.

Conclusion

Lucky Balls Casino is an online casino that I am conflicted about. The casino does some really good things in terms of its slot selection, fairness, security, and responsible gaming, but disappoints with its withdrawal policies and frustrating interface that makes it harder than it needs to be to find my favourite games. Ultimately it is a decent casino site that really needs to improve in several ways before I would rate it amongst the top end casinos.

Another one that reminds of the contest CL-Ed held a few years back for members to choose funny/crazy/different and fictional casino names. Too funny. Never heard of this one.

''Do You have the balls?''
that's there clue on Lucky balls casino.
well i have the balls too play there, if lucky balls improve several things,
i'm big fan of trying new casino's because there are always nice extra things you can get from new casino's!
when they came online short while ago, i decided to deposit there and take there welcome offer, there 100% match bonus comes with an 30x wagering requirement which is pretty low and fair, the 25 spins you can get have a lower 20x wager on it, both wagering requirements are really fair and pretty low. they also holding prize draws for new players, you can win 25 euro's or pounds, and this money won has 15 x wagering which is great.
there customer support is almost always online, also during weekends! but the reason i'm not play there so much anymore is there slow processing of withdrawals first 48 hours of pending (2days) and then hoping they process it fast after that time, for an netent casino this is slow, other netent casinos are way faster with processing just couple of hours!
lucky balls casino looks great, nice design, games can be find easily, and a good customer support.
but as written before, process of withdrawals is slow, and withdrawal limits are an bad point.
if they would improve those things, they would really have an awesome casino!🙂
