Review of Golden Cherry Casino

As we began researching Golden Cherry, we found that this casino is owned and operated by Netad Management, the same company responsible for the Slots Jungle, Win Palace, and Casino Titan gambling sites. Needless to say if you have read our reviews of those establishments, our hopes weren't that high, but we try to maintain an objective attitude and review each individual casino on its own merits. Unfortunately, Golden Cherry does not offer anything really all that special, even if it is an improvement on its sister casinos.

Blacklisted for non-payment of winnings

As stated above, Golden Cherry Casino is part of a group with a poor reputation, mainly earned through its policy of paying winners in small instalments of around $500, often several weeks apart. While frustrating for players, the casinos were reliable in coming through in the end. We say "were" because after our recent efforts to help a player who was stiffed by the related Grand Macao Casino when attempting to withdraw $6500, we can no longer say with certainty that this casino will pay you if you win big. Some players may be prepared to put up with slow withdrawals in order to claim a juicy free chip or a bonus. However no-one should be faced with the possibility of not being paid at all.

Software and Games at Golden Cherry

Powered by Rival Gaming, Golden Cherry's gaming library is different from its sister RTG casinos, which is nice to see. The casino offers both a download and instant play version of its casino, both of which we found easy to install and operate. Games at Golden Cherry are what one might expect to find at any given casino site, with video slots, video poker, table games such as blackjack, craps, roulette, and war being found within the library.

We were quite impressed with Golden Cherry's selection of more than 75 slot games, although some are definitely more worthy of your money than others. Overall we found the selection and variations of the video poker and table games to be more than acceptable. The graphics suite within the games is colourful, with basic animations being displayed when a win is registered. We must say that the graphics are a bit more advanced than RTG casinos we have seen, but really don't stand up to a casino that has something like Net Entertainment or Sheriff Gaming titles within it.

As this is a Rival-powered casino, there is a special selection of slot machines available that are dubbed the "i-Slots". We presume the "i" stands for "interactive", although we're not sure that it isn't an attempt by Rival to associate itself with Apple-mania! Anyway, these machines have interactive storylines that reveal themselves as you play, and the longer you play the more story you might see. I'm sure you can see what Rival is aiming for there. Nevertheless, its good to see innovation in slot machines, even if it isn't exactly cutting edge.

The selection of progressive jackpot games at Rival casinos is usually fairly anaemic, with only 3 or 4 small jackpots on offer. Golden Cherry breaks out of that mould, though not in a good way, by not offering any of the pooled Rival jackpots at all. This is similar to the jackpot-less RTG casinos that are owned by the same management and it is a decision that we find puzzling.

Banking and Customer Service

Banking options are decent, with 9 different ways to deposit but with only four ways to withdraw funds at the time of review. While this isn't the least amount of banking options we have seen, we have definitely seen more, and wish that Golden Cherry could find a way to offer a few more ways to move funds into and out of accounts.

Even with the semi-decent banking options, we are discouraged to see an "up to $2500" weekly withdrawal limit. And they use the term "weekly" loosely as withdrawals may take "up to 10 business days" for approval. At that rate, it would take months to receive all your winnings if you hit even a smallish 5 figure jackpot. In practice we have found payments from this group of casinos to come in closer to the $500 mark than $2500 per instalment, so patience is the name of the game if you win here. Just to be absolutely clear: anyone other than an American with restricted choices on where they can play should be looking elsewhere after reading that.

Customer service does help redeem our impression of this casino a little. We found the support person we dealt with to be extraordinarily friendly and helpful. With customer service available though telephone, email, or instant messaging, players can rest assured that someone is available 24/7 to answer your questions.

Summary

Golden Cherry is on par with its sister casinos such as Casino Titan, albeit with a different set of games thanks to the Rival software. With that being said, there really isn't that much that separates Golden Cherry from the many other Rival powered casinos we see on a day to day basis apart from the lack of progressive jackpots and the fact that they are still willing to accept American players. However what very little this casino had going for it is well and truly cancelled by its management's history of not paying a big winner at one of its other sites. Avoid.

GOLDEN CHERRY CASINO is steeling money from players from the united states sending out fake checks to so call pay for your winnings i took it to the bank they hold as an acc holder and the floor supervisor said that the check was fake and fraudulent BY THE WAY IT'S WELLS FARGO BANK

Hi joe-bone3, the interpretation of the UIGEA law by banks has made it difficult for online casinos to pay Americans. They need to use intermediary payment processors and sometimes there can be problems. I can assure you that these guys, while incredibly slow to pay people as noted in the review above, do in fact send valid checks. Have you tried contacting the casino and explaining what happened?

yes i have contacted the casino to give an explanation as to what happend but no one seems to help at this point even send several emails to the acc manager by the name of courtney and she has no responded to me as of yet

Does any One knows if golden cherry casino really does pay their so call players when they win ? Because till now all they have been doing is telling me deferent things on a daily bases about my winning payment and nothing is clear I have lost total trust on this people over a month ago now they send out a Fraudulent check out to me a week ago I got Ann email from finance that they had done a wire transfer derect to my bank acc and its all lies my acc manager by the name of Courtney used to call me every so often and now with this issued I have not hert from her at all , now if any one had this type of problems with their winnings I would love to hear from you as to your problem being resolved please comment willing to hear from thank you

Paying with checks in US is not easy these days, but if not check, they will send you a wire and solve this matter.

So I send the info in the meantime my bank calls and says they have the check and I can come get it to hold in case I will need it for further litagation they also inform me that they will no longer accept any checks from me from out of country. I am so mad why was I charged because there accout was frozen they should be charged not me. I won the money fair they should pay fair but my bank says they think it is a scam and that I should invovle the federal Prosecutors I say not at this time I think this can be resolved .So at this moment I am dumfounded as what to do Joy claims she is looking in to it In the meantime the bank has taken 560.00 of my money out of my account by NO fault of mine and now I have to worry that the other 3 checks might also bounce . My bank also informed me that out of country should Pay by western Union or MoneyGram then there is no Problem CAN YOU HELP ME Dale"

received an email today from joy in finance she asked for a copy of the charges my bank charged me so I sent that off to her along with a copy of the check that the bank gave back to me of theirs if anyone banks you know the check would go back to there bank if it was good so with me having the check with all the stamping on the back proves it was a bad check so a couple of days before christmas I know they will drag there feet funny I won this money in Sept did a withdrawal Cct 24th have recieved 4 checks out of 11 and one was bad so far this will take along time to get paid I have won at other casinos alot more than this and have never waited more than 2 weeks and was paid in full always And what really bothers me is that on other sites Golden Cherry is supposed to be a good casino to play at they give them high marks for payouts and customer service I am only hoping there just having some recent troubles because I really do like playihng there and want to play some more when this is all taken care of unless I am too old by the time I get my money where I cant see the games will keep you posted Thanks Dale

This sort of thing can and does happen to casinos that accept American players. They all have to play a game of cat and mouse using disguised payment codes and other tricks to get people their money. This is what happens when they are caught (assuming that is what has happened).

Like I said before they paid this check from a canadian bank after the currency exchange I got 481.00 then they bounced the check and charged me 560.00 I can still add 480 plus 80 equals 560 480 plus 60 equals 540 so again there trying to screw me out of 20.00 Plus I have a withdrawal that says complete wire transfer on the 12th of dec Have not seen that check then today the 26th another wire transfer says completed and I still havent recieved the first one that bounced These guys are great arent they No online gamer should have to struggle like this with any casino My goal is to let as many folks know about this kind of treatment that we the paying online customers have to go thru with some casinos and maybe someday all the bad ones will have to close up and we will be left with Nothing but HONEST casinos where we can play win or lose and know that your being treated fair and square I will keep you Posted on the next days soap opera of events

You hit the nail on the head right there Dale. Sadly this is the result of the American government's attempts to stop people gambling online. The banks and credit card companies are too scared to process the transactions so it has become a game of whack a mole where the casinos have to continually find new ways to both receive and pay money from and to players. Your are right the government to me has no right to tell me how and where to spend my money But it is also Ironic that the casinos have come up with all kinds of ways to take Money from American gamblers but they seem to have a problem paying there are avenues that they could use like western Union and Moneygram they are International money movers but the casino uses every excuse not to pay. Funny you only have to send in your faxback docs when you want to withdrawal Not to deposit Heck I could use a stolen credit card and play for a long time lose thousands and if I never ask for a withdrawal dont have to worry about forms . A little nervous after reading so many complaints regarding payouts. I just received a check from Golden Cherry that is from M** of O**. I can honestly say it doesn't look like a real check to me.. I sent the bank an E-mail giving them some information regarding the check to see if it is a fake but I haven't heard back from them. Has anyone recently received a check from them drawn on M of O?

No Not from M of O but from everyother place like 2 canadian banks 2 from wells fargo in Portland oregon Had the first one go bad the bank said they froze there account then I got charged for there bum check I am still waiting on 3700.00 winning to be paid to me from back in oct Not a good thing with these peope I thought they were a real good casino seemed fine for a while but when you win POW then you see how they really are so good luck on the Insurance company check never heard of a bank by that name just Insurance Cptman

lkvikings I wouldn't ask too many questions about the check and certainly do not mention that it is a withdrawal from an online casino or you will find that the bank will freeze the account. For that reason I have removed the name on the check from your post. It seems that they must have set up multiple different bank accounts to pay to their players.

I was not asking my bank. I emailed support from M of O to ask if the check is valid or not. I don't have an account with them. I would like to know before I deposit into my account because I don't want any red flags from my bank. I understand the problems with the banking side of online gaming but I would rather wait to get paid or not get paid at all rather than being issued a fake/bad check.

Just want to let you know you are right they have sent me checks from all over the U.S. and canada some good some not what a rotten casino Please stay away from anything this company owns It will just cause you trouble I now have the banks where these checks are drawn asking questions of fraud and money laundering because of the proccesser and the way the checks come with no logos Next I will have homeland security after me got me so mad all I can suggest to casino listings members is stay away for your own good and piece of mind Cptman

Hello! Here we have another one rival powered casino, and like for all of this casinos i decide to join golden cherry casino due to only one reason - NO DEPOSIT BONUS ( love them, give unique opportunity to invest zero, and get some money for free). After installing software and registering, i just redeem my bonus in cashier , bonus was 20$ , and start playing some slot machines. As you probably know from my other reviews, i am not good at this software, play it not usually, so did not know which slots to play , and where to nice earn money. From forums i am only know that you can have nice hit in slots 'scary rich' and 'scary rich 2' . I was lucky and clear my bonus on this slots, and request withdrawal of 120$ ( 100$ max withdrawal + 20$ my verification deposit). Support ask for docs, which was verified in two days, and on third day i get my withdrawal.
Support: Did not speak with live chat, so i can not judge them.

Hi, i hope you will enjoy my review of golden cherry casino. About rival i have almost same thoughts with belaff, we both like their software, their slots very nice and interesting, but actually rival casinos is too shady by my opinion, it is hard to find reviews from affiliates on them, and it is hard to found some players experience with this casinos, i think they not so popular this days, but this is bad, because this software of course is very good and interesting, and sometimes i think that i like it even more than playtech software. But i join this casinos to play only with no deposit bonuses, and made only few deposits in all rival casinos. At golden cherry casino i made one deposit, but only with a reason to make withdrawal after clearing no deposit bonus, i was need to make 20$ deposit to withdraw 120$. Nice win , and more good that i get my money on 5 business day, after verification, which tooks 3 days. I was happy to get my money, but decide not deposit my own funds in golden cherry casino. I think golden cherry casino is safe, and i did not had any problems with them, but you anyway should be carefull with them, because i can not say that this is reputable casino.

I played at this rival casino only once casinolistings review saying i can not get bonuses at golden cherry but about few years ago when i join it i was able to get bonus i check terms and conditions and also ask from live chat support and was able to get bonus who know probably now they remove bulgaria from country list that can get bonuses in this rival casino. I played only and i can say that my experience is mixed because live support was good and everything from software to terms was not too bad but slots was very very cold for me i played with 200% bonus and lost my deposit and bonus probably after 40 minutes of playing and i did not bet too high my bets was low so of course i not return in this casino and uninstall it. I am not very experience with rival software and with casinos who have this software so i am really not know how to rate this casino i think i will better rate it with two stars and you can decide yourself is this good casino or not everything of course looks good but i read few complaints versus this casino.

Golden cherry online casino is blacklisted at many websites, but on our forum where almost all KZ gamblers speak with each other this casino is not rogued, and also many players tried this brands, because it is have no deposit welcome offer, and of course many players who try to win some money from nothing is registered and played at this casino, even some of such players was able to win from welcome offer. But i'll start from listing pluses and minuses for this online casino.
+ Software. It is rival software, and if you want to try many rival games, and did not have limit choice of games, it is much more better to use download application.
+ Customer support. Email customer support i do not touch at all, and did not know how fast this team reply, but live chat which i tried only once was good for me(they credit me my no deposit bonus, because for some reasons i did not see it in cashier).
+ Bonuses. Casino usually send me email with different kinds of bonuses, and many of such bonuses is good. But i do not took any their bonuses, only few no deposits, but without luck.
One minus, very typical.
- Withdrawals. I did not had any withdrawals myself, but from people posts i see that it is tooks up to 10 days. Too long.
Final mark.
Due to so long time to pay winnings i did not recommend this casino.

I find the games extremely fun and should have investigated their withdrawl policy prior to paying but I did not. I am trying to withdraw monies from my account with no luck. I would like to know if this is customary.....they have an affidavit that has many steps involved in order to claim your winnings. I didn't have ANY problems logging on getting an account and gambling, but claiming winnings has proved to be painful. Their affidavit requests some identifications that I am not comfortable with sending - they want color copies of your license, they want a couple utility bills from your home AND the most disturbing to me is that they want copies of your credit cards used to gamble FRONT and BACK. This seems highly unusual of a request. WIth identity theft and the uncertainty of now knowing if the information you send them is not being sold or properly disposed of. I consulted an attorney and he strong advised me NOT to send such documentation. - Any suggestions on how I can claim my winnings? I offered to send a voided check and a copy of y license but that was not acceptable to them. Other casinos I have gambled with and won have no problem making a direct deposit to my checking account as long as I provide the banking numbers. After reading some of your posts - I am almost certain I will never see these winnings.

Providing identification is par for the course, even at good casinos (which this one is not). The reason they want a copy of your credit cards front and back is to firstly prove that you own the card and secondly to discourage a chargeback where a winning player receives their withdrawal then disputes and has their deposits refunded via their credit card company.

When I supply card photos, I make sure to cover or black out at least the middle 8 digits of the card on the front, and cover the 3 digit CVC code on the back. This makes it useless for a bad guy who may try to use the card. If you don't know your way around a paint program on the computer to do it, use a piece of opaque black tape or cardboard when you take a photo of the card.

As for whether they will pay you if or when you send through the docs, I cannot say for sure. We have been going back and forth with them trying to get a woman paid who won $6500 in July and they are still stalling.

From what I understand Golden Cherry and the other casinos in the group are no longer in business. From what I heard about 2 weeks ago the owners got busted. If you try logging into the casino it will say account locked. Unfortunately you will not be getting paid.
