Established in 2002, Gold Betting Casino is a flash-based, no-download online casino licensed in the Netherlands-Antilles that accepts players from the USA. We have blacklisted Gold Betting for reasons including: games have higher payouts in free play mode (see screenshot above), a lack of published information about who exactly runs the casino and their contact information, and past player issues with the casino and its software supplier, Wager21.
A disturbing discovery you could easily miss while surfing through the site's sparse help section, is that the games are set to make higher payouts while in free play mode. We have a screenshot of the offending term on this page, and here is the exact quote:

This is obviously an attempt to suck people into depositing at the casino after winning big in "fun mode". This is a disgraceful practice that should be eliminated.
Want to phone Gold Betting? Bad luck, they only publish contact email addresses. Want to write to them? Bad luck, they do not publish a physical contact address at all. Would you like to know who the owners are? So would we. The best we can do is publish the current contact details on their domain registration record:

In fact, after cruising around their website and reading their FAQ (which is incidentally full of vague statements such as our Casino is part of a large organization that pays out millions of dollars per year to happy winners), we were left with the distinct impression that Gold Betting is deliberately attempting to reveal as little information about themselves as possible. This is not very reassuring for a prospective player, as it shows many of the signs of being a rogue operation.
Jackpots on video poker and progressive slots displayed on their site show jackpots ranging from $12,000 to $230,000. Gold Betting claims that their slots are set to payout 98.7%, but we can't be sure that this information is accurate as there is no link to any kind of independent audit trail.
Little is known about what security measures are being employed by Gold Betting Casino. They promise that they use modern systems to make sure transactions between Gold Betting Casino and its users are private and secure and that they respect your privacy. While it may calm the nerves of many inexperienced players, seasoned online players know that a promise without concrete evidence is not enough.
Gold Betting Casino accepts only US Dollars. Players can deposit funds through credit and debit cards, eCheck, NETeller, Visa, and PrepaidATM. Withdrawals can be made only via Neteller or check. Gold Betting Casino also imposes a daily withdrawal limit of $1,000 on its customers, and you cannot make a withdrawal within 7 days of first signing up and depositing.

I am actually surprised that this miserable casino is still open and operating. The website still says copyright 2000-2009 so it looks like they haven't updated that part for 3 or 4 years now.

Hi Guys ... I have played several years at "Goldbetting" Casino,fortunately only with play money ... but now that I want associate myself with a good casino , and started doing some homework , I stumbled upon this site. I could not wait to sign up as I can obviously help myself , but also other players as well. "Goldbetting" was the site that I intended to join as every time ( without exception) I would win.
