Review of FreakyVegas Casino
I was expecting to be spooked when I saw that Freaky Vegas Casino was the next casino in my queue to review. Strangely though, there is nothing scary, odd, strange, or sexual at all about this online betting site and it appears to be "freaky" in name only. It actually turned out to be one of the better new casinos I've looked at recently.
Software and game selection
Freaky Vegas has a nice layout to it, with the site making it easy to register an account, deposit and play. There is a comic book themed background image that says "BOOM! Get your freak on" which on second thoughts is perhaps a little bit of an odd message for a casino to be conveying. The casino games are also pretty easy to navigate and filter, as you can break down by developer, game type, or even by name using the search function.
The game library at Freaky Vegas is not large though, as it offers games from Net Entertainment, EGT, Yggdrasil, and Portomaso live dealer games. The vast majority of the games available are slots, but players will also find blackjack and roulette titles as well. Fleshing out things more is a small selection of Net Ent and Yggdrasil progressive jackpots.
Live dealer casino games have been added to more and more casinos, and Freaky Vegas is no exception. The interesting thing about Portomaso Gaming's live games is that they are broadcast from bricks and mortar casino floors in Malta. The live games available include Blackjack, Roulette, and Punto Banco (Baccarat). Overall the quality is decent, but not as crisp as I've seen from some other developers, and the video can be a bit choppy from time to time. Your mileage may vary of course depending on where in the world you are located while playing there.
Mobile play is well supported, which gives you access to a large number of the slots on your smartphone and tablet. The full library of games isn't available on the smaller screen, but there is enough to make it worth your while.
Banking and customer support options
The casino supports a fairly standard assortment of banking options, with credit card, bank transfer, and eWallet methods available for users. The speed of withdrawals is excellent, with eWallets such as Neteller or Skrill paid out within hours, while credit card and bank transfers can take a few days longer. If there is a downside here, it is the fact that there's a monthly withdrawal limit of only €5000, which places this casino amongst the lowest bracket in terms of limits that I have seen recently. The casino terms state that you can request higher limits through support, but in practice it is always best to assume the minimum is going to apply.
Customer service is available through both live chat and email. While phone support would've been nice to see, I did find the reps answered on the text chat box quickly. I found that the reps here were more or less average, able to provide basic information about bonuses and other rules, but unable to go much further than anything that you could not read for yourself in the terms anyway. For example I asked about how high the payment limits go and could not get a straight answer other than what amounted to "we decide on a case by case basis". So pretty much par for the course in terms of casino support reps.
Security, fairness, and responsible gaming policies
Freaky Vegas employs standard SSL encryption technology to protect your data as it moves between your computer and the casino at all times. This is as should be expected and as usual we remind players to avoid sites that don't enforce such basic security precautions.
The casino holds a gaming license in Malta, and claims to be working on obtaining licensing in the United Kingdom, which is good as both areas are among the best regulatory jurisdictions when it comes to holding operators responsible for their actions. Fairness is checked by Gaming Laboratories International, which tests the various random number generators on the site. The group's certification was granted in 2014 and runs through 2018 as of the writing of this reviews. Most of the games offered disclose their theoretical return to player (RTP) percentages in game, but aside from that the casino does not publish a consolidated list to allow you to quickly compare the payout rates of various games, nor does it publish any monthly or annual audits of actual payout numbers.
Responsible gambling is taken seriously by this casino. Once logged in, you are able to set various limits on your gaming including deposit, loss, and wager limits, along with hard time limits. You also have the option to self submit a temporary or permanent self exclusion request. I was pleased to see all of these controls as they meet industry best practice in this area.
Conclusion
I really enjoyed my time with Freaky Vegas Casino. The game library is small but high quality, and given the fast payouts of winnings to my Neteller account I was happy with the overall experience. Looking further ahead, the casino really needs to increase its monthly payment limits and expand its gaming selection if it wants to compete with the top casinos on the market.
Comments
At Freaky Vegas i was playing with maybe 4 or 5 deposits. I always played with bonuses but i wasnt able to meet wagering requirements. Requirements are classic, nothing bad, nothing good 30x d+b.
They have slots from netent, ygdrassil and egt providers. I was playing netent and egt. But in these days it would be nice if they had more games providers because it easy to find much better casinos now. Good thing is that they have all the most popular payment methods such a credit card, skrill, neteller paysafecard...
But in general i cant recommend them, just try it, take a bonus. But they didnt attract me to play there. So i gave them 3 stars cause for me they are just mediocre casino.
