Casino Mate is a casino spun off from the old, and now shuttered, Vegas Partner Lounge group of Microgaming casinos. Our Australian readers will instantly realise when seeing the name that this casino is targeted at them, but there are a number of reasons why it might not be such a good choice for our friends from down under.
This is an entirely web based casino that brings together a selection of games from various casino games designers. Chief among these is Microgaming, via their web-based Quickfire platform. That gives you the option of playing time-honoured classics like Thunderstruck, Immortal Romance, Avalon, and Break da Bank Again, along with more recent titles like Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, and Playboy. But it does raise reason number one why this casino isn't all that for Australian players: none of these games are playable if you're in Australia.
There is a decent selection of games from other providers that do accomodate Australians though, including the likes of Quickspin and Play'n Go. But this is let down by the inclusion of games from blacklisted providers Betsoft and Pragmatic Play. As usual we recommend that players avoid all games published by both providers, as we have serious unaddressed questions about the fairness and randomness of their games and/or progressive jackpots.
Progressive jackpot chasers are catered to with the Microgaming series of jackpots that includes Mega Moolah and Major Millions, assuming you are able to play them, along with a few games from Play'n Go. There are also a large number of Betsoft jackpots, which we once again warn you to avoid due to our 2016 investigation that revealed that they do not pay out fairly at all times.
The site works more or less equally well on both computers and mobile or tablet devices. It offers tables games and video poker alongside the slots, though once again is let down by the dominance of Betsoft titles in that section. If you aren't able to play the Microgaming games, and you're unwilling to play Betsoft's, then you have almost nothing to choose on that front. Those of you that prefer live dealer action are out of luck too, with no live games to speak of.

Casino Mate offers a wide range of standard banking options that includes major credit cards, popular e-wallets, and bank transfers. Deposits are handled instantly, however all withdrawals have a minimum 24 hour holding period before processing. Withdrawals are only processed on weekdays which this casino defines as only Monday to Thursday (wouldn't we all love a three day weekend every week?), so if you withdraw on Friday you will be waiting until Monday for it to be processed. Promoted as a feature to allow players to reverse their withdrawal and redeposit if they change their mind, I think we all know the real reason for this policy and it certainly is not for the player's benefit.
There is a $10,000 per week withdrawal limit in place at this casino, though thankfully the terms stipulate that networked progressive jackpot wins are exempt from this limit. That means that if you were fortunate enough to win Microgaming's Mega Moolah jackpot at this casino, you would be paid in a lump sum rather than via monthly instalments for several years. However one concerning clause that I did notice was that the bonuses at this casino may have win limits applied to them, which caps the amount you can win when playing with a bonus. As always, check the terms carefully before claiming any bonus at this casino, and avoid the ones that have a win cap on them.
Casino Mate uses SSL encryption at all times to ensure the security and privacy of your personal information while it is in transit across the internet. However I have a number of other reservations about this casino in this regard. I have already highlighted the use of highly questionable game suppliers Betsoft and Pragmatic Play (aka TopGame). In addition to this, the casino provides no information whatsoever about the fairness of its games, nor does it publish audits of its game results.
Once upon a time, when this casino used to be part of the Vegas Partner Lounge group, it was eCOGRA accredited and would publish monthly payout audits. It also used to have a Maltese license to operate. Those days are clearly long gone and I could find no basic information such as the name of the company that operates the casino, nor whether this casino is licensed or regulated at all. Clearly the current operator is trying very hard to conceal their identity, presumably from Australian authorities who have recently threatened to enforce sanctions against offshore operators that continue to accept Australian customers at their casinos.
Responsible gambling is addressed partially, as you are able to set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits, along with requesting cool-off periods, and even total self exclusion. I say "partially" though because you need to contact customer support to do this, as the casino does not provide any controls for you to administer these settings yourself.
The decision to separate from the Vegas Partner Lounge and operate in grey markets like Australia has come at some cost to Casino Mate. The game selection is pretty good, unless you happen to be the casino's number one target market and Australian, in which case you are left with a handful of good games alongside a host of titles from developers known to produce dodgy games. This is the primary reason that I can't really recommend this casino to anyone - it is a poor choice for Australians, and those of you from other countries have far bigger and better casinos to choose from.

I've known this casino for a few years now. I initially joined them a few years ago as they offered a great selection of Microgaming games and I used to enjoy playing them. I've had some good experiences there, never had any issues with deposits or withdrawals or neither with the games. Speaking of withdrawals, it's always taken around 3 days to receive them, so it could be quicker but still a decent timeframe. I haven't played there for a while now just because there didn't seem to be any exciting bonuses/ rewards and the game selection could be bigger, if I compare it to other casinos I play at. That being said, I have nothing to complain about and if you enjoy predominantly Microgaming games, they're a good choice.

Not a bad online casino, seem fair and trustworthy, the mobile casino is a little bit scattered, a bit tough to navigate their lobby when it doesn't really need to be. A wide variety of games to play, which brings me to my one issue with Casino-Mate. Great casino. some time I joined casinomate, I found a good thing certainly a lot of games. I decided to try the deposit after CS give me the welcome offer manually. after it I played some game from play'n go. As I expected good results I managed to collect cash 250$ from a deposit of 20$.

Casino mate not casino at that i want to play. I am not saying that it is bad place to play, or it is even dangerous, nothing like this i want to say. I am just have very usual disslikes for many other casinos. First disslike - only microgaming games. Hi, i hope you will enjoy my review of casino mate! When i saw their welcome offers, i am not believe. Freeplay offer, 100% bonus, and 200% bonus. This casino is not worth all the good reviews it seems to enjoy. They operate just like any other rogue casino.They sent me an email about some promo or other.
