Review of 123 Slots Online
If there were a poster child for awful casino operators it would have to be the Virtual Casino Group. Over the years the casino has been responsible for so many bad betting sites that their name has become a byword for fraud in the industry. We thought we'd put together a full review of 123 Slots Online Casino in order to show you the multiple ways this site fails across the board.
Warning - noted rogue operator
The Virtual Casino Group, of which 123 Slots Online is a member, has a long and consistent history of mistreating and ripping off players that stretches back for more than a decade. This should not be surprising once you learn that its owner served jail time for fraud in the United States in the mid 1990s. This is not someone that would pass any fitness of character test for a prospective casino owner in any serious regulated jurisdiction. Sadly this casino is not licensed to operate by any legitimate regulator. As for what you can expect from this casino if you decide to play at it: too good to be true bonus offers, extremely slow payments in small instalments, and the frequent use of questionable T&Cs to void winnings. Forget about it, it just is not worth the risk.
Software and game selection
123 Slots Online uses Parlay software to power their casino. This supplier has been around for a couple decades, and honestly, their software looks dated. The software is deployed via an in-browser instant play model, which sees you register and deposit through your browser. The casino website itself is rife with broken images and it looks neglected and trashy when compared to the competition today.
The games on offer at the casino include slots, table games, keno, and a small assortment of parlour games. Nothing here is what I'd consider to be fantastic, and a lot of the choices come in behind even what you'd find from Rival or Realtime Gaming.
Banking and customer support
If I have to sum up the banking department of 123 Slots Online in one word, it would be heinous. This casino group has a long history of either not paying out winnings to players or making the payout process take months for those that they do deign to pay. From time to time the operator will make a show of paying out winnings to a bunch of players that complain on internet forums like ours, but they inevitably go back to their rogue ways in short order.
Customer support can be contacted by phone or live chat but if you have a payment dispute they are more or less useless. The default attitude seems to be that every player is a fraudster looking to rip off the poor folks running the casino. I assume this is due to training provided by the crooks in charge.
Security, fairness, and responsible gaming
At first glance I had questions about the security of this site due to its lack of SSL protection. However when you do submit the login form it is passed through an encrypted connection. I don't understand why therefore they don't just run the whole website under this same protection. Anyway if you're read this far you're surely not going to play there so it doesn't really matter does it?
Fairness is another area in which you won't find information. The casino is not licensed by any recognised jurisdiction or licensing authority, which means that there is no recourse through official channels for you if you are stiffed by this casino. It also means that the casino is not required to publish any information about the payout rates of its games, so naturally it doesn't.
Responsible gaming information is actually found here, which is about one of the only good things this casino does. The page on the site provides info on identifying and fighting problem behaviours, but I couldn't find any self-exclusion or deposit limit policies or controls in place. Additionally, there are no links to outside counseling groups.
Conclusion
If you're into scummy casinos that will scam you at the drop of a hat, then by all means, go with 123 Slots Online. If you're sane, please avoid this casino and any of its sister sites and instead check out our recommendations and play at another casino that will treat you right.
Comments
It was quite some time ago when I disovered thisasino. I was eager to play something for free and so I found out a free chip offer for this casino and didn't know better and registered there. I had a bonus code but it didn't work so I wrote an email to their customer support. They didn't reply to me over 2 days so I contacted them once again and still nothing. They actually never got back to me and because of that I never made any deposits there. I understand that my question wasn't urgent but I was still a customer and their ignorance made me understand what would happen if I'd win and tried to cashout. Definitely should be voided.
