Cloudbet, scam or not?

I was looking for a bitcoin sportsbook and casino these days and I found this site called Cloudbet. Deposited few times but unfortunately lost all on their sports book so wasn't able to try to withdraw anything. I've looked in the net that they are some staements that this casino might be a scam so I wondered if anyone here had any experience with it, and will they paying in fact?

There have been other players experiencing problems with Cloudbet, and IIRC they've had some scam accusations against them in the past. If you need a better sportsbook, try nitrogensports.eu. AFAIK they are the most trustworthy and have the best odds. However, remember to be cautious and research. bitcointalk.org should lead you to some sportsbooks/casinos you can find - you just have to trail through the spam

Thanks guys,
Yes I know about Nitrogensports but still doesn't tried it yet, Cloudbet has a richer live section that's why I choose them, I use mainly Bet365 sometimes Betfair for booking but when I have some coins I'd like to have alternative.

sportsbet.io is a newer sportsbook, that might be of interest of you. There's zero-confirmation deposits and the withdrawals are usually pretty fast - plus, there are some casino games (though I'd advise against them). It has a pretty wide array of bet options. With the fact that they have zero-confirmation deposits, I would deposit small amounts just in case they have problems.

Yes I've been there too mate, the site really slows down my computer, probably that's why I still didn't deposited there. Had a bonus at bitcasino.io played some roulette and lost it in seconds Smile strange because I tried to play safe. Anyway I will probably deposit there sooner or later but really want testing if Cloudbet paying first because they are closer to what I'm looking from a sportsbook.

Hi everyone,
I would like to explain my sad experience with Cloudbet casino. I've tried some BTC casinos and decided to make some bets in Cloudbet. I like to play with some higher limits. So I've deposited 2.5BTC. After some low bets I've made 2.5BTC bet and won. So I had 5BTC in my account in total. After a few time I've requested to withdraw all my coins. Then in two days I realized that my account was frozen. Also I've received an email from Cloudbet security team in which they wrote me that my activity is quite unusual and that's why I need to send them a scan of my passport; utility bill; my photo and so on. So now I can't withdraw my coins though Cloudbet is providing an anonymous service.

Thanks for sharing your experience jarret, I'm not sure they have the right to ask you for your passport and all the others id proving documents, it's usual practice in the "straight" online casinos but I'm not sure that btc only casino could require those...but if that's the only way for you to receive your winnings you should probably cooperate with them mate, at least I would do that.
