Misuse of Deposit Bonus Codes

I usually don't deposit money at any online casino unless I have a deposit bonus code. Because of that, below is an email that I received from Inetbet accusing me of misusing their bonus code. What I did not know was that you will be banned from receiving bonus codes if you only deposit money when you have a bonus code. That happened to me at Grande Vegas, Slotocash and Uptown Aces. But they never told me why. Only Inetbet informed me about that. I appreciate that. Since I only plays slots and the odds of winning at slots are much less than winning at cards, I make not apologies for that. To be frank with you, the only reason I have been banned at those casinos is because I win at slots. If you don't win, it is okay to use the deposit bonus codes. But the moment, you start winning, beware.

Dear xxxxx,

I have been asked to inform you that our accounts department have flagged
your account for possible exclusion from future promotions.

You continually availed of bonus's that we send out to reward our regular
players, but you do not play unless it is bonus advantage play.

I must therefore confirm that unless we see a change in your pattern of
play i.e. bonus free playing, we will be denying any future bonus's that
you try to redeem.

This is not an action that we take lightly, however continual misuse of
the bonus program seriously effects our ability to reward our regular
players.

Please note, no exclusion is yet in place, this is simply a friendly heads up.

Kind regards
iNetBet Support

The key words in there are "bonus advantage play".

This means that they believe that you are an advantage player, which can mean anything from a card counter or hole-carder to someone who only plays when they have a mathematical edge over the casino. Obviously this is online and you're playing slots so card counting and hole carding are non-existant. So they figure that you only ever take bonuses that give you an advantage over the house.

I'd take it as a point of pride. They see you as an unprofitable customer which means that you have been beating them over a long period. There isn't really a lot you can do and they are under no obligation to offer you or anyone else bonuses so there isn't really anything you can do about it except move on to another casino.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing.

It seems that I am running out of casinos to play, as several have stopped giving me bonuses. I tend to win at slots but that is due to the fact that I spent the whole last year learning the slot games in order to predict when I have to stop or continue playing a game. I have become quite good at it now but in order to reach this point, I lost a good deal of money to learn.

These casinos were happy to take my money when I was losing even though I was using bonuses. Now that I have become better at playing slots and winning, it seems that they don't like it. That's fine with me.

You are right. They don't have to give me bonuses and I don't have play there either. Thanks for the clarification. I don't understand what they mean by "bonus free playing". It sounds like that they are saying that I have to play without using deposit bonus codes. Fat Chance!!!

I agree with Ed: take it as a badge of honor and look for a better site to play at. I can deposit at a few casinos that dont let me claim bonuses. Fair enough: I will send my money to other good spots that let me claim a bonus.

What is the list of casinos you currently play at, and would you be opposed to trying a new spot that offers good bonuses?

I play at casinos from the Jackpot Capital and Club World Groups. I used to play at slotocash and Uptown Aces but they no longer give me bonuses. Inetbet seems to indicate they are not giving me any more bonuses. Grande Vegas does not give me any more bonuses either.

I don't mind trying new casinos. My problem is that being in the United States, I am kind of limited with the manner I can deposit money at casinos. For example, I tried to deposit money many times at Win a Day Casino, but my credit card is usually declined. That usually happens at microgaming and betsoft sites. I don't why I don't have problems using my credit cards a RTG sites but encounter problems at other sites.

I have had some limited success setting up and getting a Neteller card and then using that to fund virtual Visa cards (Entropay) to deposit at casinos. It is a real pain in the neck, but is apparently the only way that I can get my money accepted at sites like Bovada. Of course, I have done pretty well all things considered, so it is worth the hassle.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into that. I did open an Entropay account last year but never followed through because Entorpay's terms prohibited me from depositing money at casinos.

Yeah they can be finicky about it, but in my experience they allowed it. May be on a site-by-site basis.

If you are still interested in playing at Win A Day, they will assist you if you go to Chat. I had issues in the beginning, but they resolved those issues for me.

I have never heard of this before! Why offer the bonus codes if they don't want players to use them? Then when players DO use them, they are banned? Makes no sense to me at all. Wow
