Getting back...ummm...not quite...

Getting back into the swing of things isn't as easy as I thought it would instead of saying that i'm back...i'm gonna say that i'm just getting warmed up. 😛 At least the most it as cost me so far is 250 PPs (Player Points) and has not cost me a single monetary cent. However, as goes with most freeroll type tournaments, it isn't an easy to win.

I'm assuming you're talking poker here .. freerolls are annoyingly hard to win because people just do crazy stuff all the time knowing that they lose nothing by busting out. Same at the micro-limit tables.

Have you ever seen Chris Ferguson's $10k challenge where he tried to turn nothing (I think it was..) into $10k? It took him ages to get out of that low range by playing in freerolls and microstakes. But once he got into the mid-stakes he accumulated the rest quite quickly.

So . .. er.. how about the cokacolakid challenge? Turn nothing into $10k!

I did see that challenge with Chris Ferguson at Full Tilt Poker. It was amazing how he slowly came up through the ranks. I personally do love the freerolls. I don't think there is anything more exciting than to be up against 2,500 players and actually win! I was fortunate enough to do just that twice! Once i placed first and the other time i came in 3rd.

It requires painstaking patience. I did make it to the third leg of a tournament for a free seat at After Dark spot. I was so darn excited and couldn't wait for the final round which was two months out.

Well wouldn't you know it the day of the final leg i completely forgot about it!! Sigh..........maybe one day i will be on TV with my shades on representing the poker woman of the world....he he he!
