Could it happen? Has it happened?

I don't recall ever having such a thought and neither did I ever see or feel this coming...but it seems I have suddenly lost my passion to gamble. Wow?!?! I played a few slot games and tried to play through a couple of poker tournaments but they just don't feel the same anymore. Have I lost my drive? My passion? Maybe it's just a case of spring fever....that's what it is...it has to be...

Hey, Kid! We gotta take some drastic action here. This is just not you!
First, remember this is a real common thing among pros and ameteurs alike, so it is just your turn. It is not a lasting condition. You WILL get past it and your passion will return. You won't be able to stop it, any more than you could prevent this intermission in your performances.
So stop worrying and don't try to push it. Relax. Remember the part relaxation and patience play in a successful gambler's life.
Maybe go back and review some old lessons from somewhere? Wink But only when the desire to do so hits you. Don't push that either.
We need breaks to keep from burning out. The more you enjoy your break, the better it will be for your playing when the urge returns. It's all part of the gambler's game. Headphones Beer

Then this day was worth my getting out of bed for.
I have been following your career the best I could, Kid, and I am still as impressed as ever. I have met very few men whose blood runs with poker and an unsatiable thirst for knowledge as does yours.
When you need me, I hope I will always know and step in to be there for you. There are many let-downs in life, but this you can count on: I shall be your Guru for life.
Good thinking, Kid. See you at the tables. Thumb Up Cigarette
