List of casinos that support Postepay transactions

Poste Pay refers to a range of products offered by the Italian postal service that essentially act as debit cards. In order to sign up for any service it is necessary to have an Italian tax identification number, so it is mainly intended for Italian citizens. It is not clear whether foreigners with resident status in the country may use this service as well, although common sense seems to indicate that it would be possible.

Postepay payments at online casinos

Poste Pay offers a number of services: the standard card, the Postepay twin, Postepay Moneygram Rewards, Postepay PosteMobile, and ePostepay. Each these functions as a debit card that can be used wherever the Visa and Visa Electron signs are displayed. Thus, it acts as a debit card that can be used to make purchases in stores as well as over the internet. It can also be used to withdraw cash. It is possible to load these cards from an Italian post office, Postamat ATMs, SISAL pints, the poste.it site, or even a PosteMobile SIM that has been synced with a postepay account. Withdrawing is also fairly simple – users can withdraw at any Italian post ATM or any bank machine with a the Visa or Visa Electron sign. It can also send and receive money to and from Paypal accounts.

The Poste Pay service seems to be a good solution for online gaming for residents in Italy, but, relative to the other options out there it does not appear to be the most efficient solution available. This is in part due to certain limits imposed by the service (there are limits to certain top-ups for example), and the extra step of having to get a card and then top it up. If you already happen to have a Poste Pay account, it is good to know that it can be used for gaming purposes also; if you do not, it may make more sense to simply use an e-wallet function.
