Diners Club payments at online casinos
In 1981 Citigroup bought Diner Club International, but recently Citigroup sold its German and Swiss franchise in 2010 and its UK and Irish franchise in 2012. Many international franchises remain independently owned. In 2004 Diners Club announced an agreement with MasterCard where the Diners Card could be used in all the places that accepted MasterCard.
Once your application for the Diners Card is approved, providing proof of income, you can begin using the card where the Diners logo is found. It works a bit different to a credit card. If you want to make a payment with this card at an online casino you will have to provide your card number, expire date and security code found at the back of the card. The card has a limit but one you can agree on with your bank. At the end of the month you will get a bill of all the charges on the card and you need to pay the amount in full to Diners Club International.
The only down side to this card is that it charges the customer and the merchant quite a lot for its transactions thus you might not find too many online casinos allowing it as a payment option.
