Wild Vegas Casino is an operation featuring Real Time Gaming software that forms part of the Costa Rican based Virtual Casino Group. This group of casinos is well known for their apparently generous free chip offers and deposit bonuses. I say apparently because when you hear about the lengthy terms and conditions attached to these bonuses, not to mention the process you have to go through to withdraw your winnings, they won't sound so enticing after all. Their catchphrase is a slightly unfortunate sounding "What happens in Vegas, stays in Wild Vegas". I hope that doesn't refer to my money staying in Wild Vegas.

Wild Vegas Casino Games

Wild Vegas Casino provides the regular Real Time Gaming range of around 80 games, well short of your typical Microgaming casino, but more than enough to keep you amused nonetheless. Wild Vegas features over 40 slot machines including three and five reel, progressive and non-progressive variants. You will find a decent combination of traditional table games including craps, baccarat, roulette, multiple blackjack variations, caribbean stud poker, three card poker plus a few more, along with plenty of video poker options, and keno. All the games may be played in "fun mode" or for real money, but you will have to sign up for a casino account even if you only want to play for fun.

Wild Vegas does not publish any audited payout percentages for their games on their website, and this lack of transparency is not reassuring.

Warning - deliberately slow withdrawals

Wild Vegas, and indeed the others in the Virtual Casino Group, have earned quite a reputation due to the quantity of no deposit free chips they offer. This has not gone unnoticed by every casino scammer, cheater and multi-accounter online. The end result is that should you win on one of these free chips, you can expect to be thoroughly vetted and to wait a long time to receive your winnings. They do pay eventually should you have met each and every condition placed on these deals (which is the only reason why we have not outright blacklisted them) but be aware that if you have violated any of their terms in the slightest way, you can expect to have your winnings voided. This could include something as mundane as using two free chip codes in a row without depositing in between, even though they emailed you the free chip code themselves.

Sure, go ahead and try out the software for a bit of fun using a free chip code, but when it comes time to deposit your money, you can do a lot better at other Real Time Gaming casinos with the same set of games such as Club USA, Slots Plus, Play United, or iNetBet.

Customer Support

Support options include email, phone, fax, and the convenient live text chat. Sadly the convenience of live text chat is rivaled only by the attitude of most of the support personnel. No doubt tired of arguing with customers wanting to know when the withdrawal request they made two months ago is going to be processed, they often come across as less than polite.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Wild Vegas Casino has problems in the banking departments. You are limited in making deposits via Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, and Click2Pay, and add wire transfer and cashier's cheque to that list when making a withdrawal.

Sloppy website

We ran into several errors while browsing the Wild Vegas website that really should not be allowed to pass through testing. There is a progressive jackpot "ticker" which currently stands at over $800,000 but we could not establish whether this is for a single game, or all progressives combined. Every time you click on the progressive ticker, you are redirected to the promotions page, which is no help at all. While previewing games, if you click the screenshots of other games at the bottom of the screen, you will often get a page not found error. So you need to stick to using the "arrow" to the right of the main screenshot at the top of the page, but this cycles through all the games in a seemingly random order that does not correspond to the screenshots at the bottom.

We also noticed that the site is littered with obvious spelling and grammatical errors, which combined with the above issues gives you the impression that they do not exhibit lot of care or professionalism in their work. Ed's note: the same errors still exist, twelve months later - December 2008.
