Online gambling software provider Playtech plc has announced strong first half 2010 results for the six months ended 30 June 2010.

Betfair launches new playtech flash software

The Betfair online casino software deal with Playtech will come to fruition at the end of August with the launch of the latter's new Flash-based product, the two companies announced this week. Videobet, a subsidiary of Playtech plc, has been chosen to provide the technology platform to Ladbrokes for around 7,600 gaming machines, representing some 95% of the firm's gaming estate.
