Net Ent Gains New Jersey Online Betting Approval

Internet betting firm Net Ent has announced that it has been granted a waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, allowing the group to begin offering its games online through the Borgata and Bwin casino sites.

Net Ent was granted a transactional waiver from the regulator, which will allow the developer to offer its games while its Casino Service Industry Enterprise License is still being considered by the state. With the waiver granted, Net Ent will now install its servers at the Borgata and begin a trial of its games to ensure they function correctly.

Commenting on the waiver Net Ent Americas LLC Managing Director Björn Krantz said, "The approval of the transactional waiver for Borgata and bwin.party in New Jersey marks yet another milestone in our efforts to successfully go to market and build a long-term presence in North America. We are working in close collaboration with our partners and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to secure that necessary administration is taken to successfully go live as soon as possible."

Currently there is no timeframe for the games to go live in New Jersey, but Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.
