Internet betting firm 888 Holdings has published a new statement in which they acknowledged that they are considering placing a new bid for Bwin.Party.
Bwin said that for the time being it will stick with its initial bid of £898.3 million for Bwin, but that it will be meeting with shareholders to discuss the potential for new bids. The revelation comes after rival firm GVC Holdings has upped their bids multiple times, beating out 888 with a bid in excess of £1 billon.
For its part, Bwin said that it is still studying the bids, and no new information regarding the bidding process has been revealed as of press time, but Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.
