Four South Korean nationals were arrested in Thailand this week and charged with running an illegal online gambling ring, the latest group of South Koreans to be arrested in the country.

Lee Min-kyu, Kim Hong-in, Park Jung-gi and Son Suck-won were arrested following a raid in the Klong Toey district. The group were located in a luxury apartment, and police found 11 mobile phones, a large sum of money, and other evidence in the domicile.

The raid was an offshoot of a similar raid last week which saw numerous South Koreans arrested. Police Lt Col Torsak Sookwimol said that he is working with Interpol, as the group arrested is part of a network that operates from both Cambodia and the Philippines.
