Ladbrokes Technician Mistake Costs Company Business

A technician at Ladbrokes in South Africa cost the company some serious business after he accidentally removed a cricket match between South Africa and Sri Lanka.

The mistake came as the technician was trying to manage traffic on Ladbrokes' South African website ladbrokes.co.za. Because of the mistake, no in-run betting was offered to South African gamblers.

Speaking about the error, Ladbrokes South Africa Marketing Manager Anli Kotze said "They should have removed other matches that were less popular. We did lose some important business at the weekend as a result."
