Betfair To Sponsor Kingmaker Day

Online betting exchange Betfair has announced that it is sponsoring The Kingmaker Day at Warwick Racecourse.

The sponsorship deal expands Betfair's portfolio of horse racing sponsorships. The event is set to take place on February 11th.

Speaking about the deal, Betfair Spokesman Tony Calvin said "We are delighted to have secured the sponsorship of such a prestigious and high profile meeting as Kingmaker Day at Warwick Racecourse on 11 February. Given that we are also sponsoring the whole Newbury card as a part of 'Betfair Super Saturday' on 11 February, this association ensures that we are backing all the terrestrial television races on this day."

Warwick Racecourse Managing Director Huw Williams said "We are delighted to welcome Betfair as the new sponsor for Kingmaker Day which is not only one of the highlights of the racecourse's calendar but also of the jump racing season as a whole in Britain."
