About All American
RTG brings you All American video poker. This is a basic video poker game with only the little picture of fireworks in the corner of the game screen letting you know it only carries an American theme. The game is based on the Jacks or Better and pretty much follows those rules. If you have never played video poker before do not fear, it is one of the most straight forward games to pick up.
How to play All American
You are basically playing poker except that you are the only player. Your goal is to put together the best possible poker hand from the cards you have been dealt. All hands follow the traditional poker rules, the only hand that is a bit different is that you must have at least a pair of Jacks or better to get a payout for a pair. A pair of 10s or less will not bring you anything.
You can play 1 to 5 coins and you begin with choosing this bet level you will be playing at. The more coins you bet the higher the payout. There is a Bet max button which allows you to with one click choose the highest bet level.
By pressing the Deal button your hand is dealt and you choose which of the cards in front of you want to keep. Click on them and then click Draw, to replace the cards you are not holding. After the second dealing of the cards you check to see if you have a winning hand. You can collect your win or you could choose to gamble it for a chance of possibly doubling them.
The gamble game is simple. You need to choose one of the four cards facing down that you think is higher than the fifth card which you can see. If you are correct your winnings are doubled if not you lose your winning and start a new poker hand.
Comments
A decent game, nothing special though, I don't like the fact that the RTG pokers doesn't mark the cards of an initial winning hand and also in the double or nothing round you need to make one more click than usual for the games of other VPR developers, it's a bit annoying.
