About Wild Viking
How would you feel if we told you that there is a card-based game out there that combines elements of both Poker and Roulette? If you are incredulous at the idea, would not hold it against you as the concept is admittedly weird. More importantly, we would point you to Wild Viking from Playtech, an interesting hybrid that is sure to appeal to many looking for a change of pace and worth giving a try at the very least.
Note: this game is no longer available for play.
Wild Viking information
This game is likely to have as many lovers as it does haters. That's because Wild Viking is so far out there that it will simultaneously please the adventurous and alienate the purists. Whether you will be a fan is difficult to tell, but you should at least give this game a try to find out where you belong on the spectrum.
While the concept of the game is unique, the presentation is fairly average. Like many of the Playtech card offerings, the music and effects are on a much higher level than the pedestrian graphics. All in all, it's good enough but it will not blow your socks off.
How to play Wild Viking
Wild Viking is an interesting game to play the least. The point of the game is to correctly wager on what single card or combination of cards is drawn at random. Like in Roulette, you are allowed to make multiple bets and higher payouts are in store for bets whose odds are lower.
Potential players should note a couple of things about playing here: First, the most you can put on a single play is $100 and the least is $100. Second, the last card drawn is the most significant in the game because many bets are based on that card. For example, if you wager that the card drawn will be a six, you will win only if the final card drawn is a six. For more information on payouts, click on the "show paytable" button above the screen.
