About Tens or Better

If you’re familiar with the video poker game Jacks or Better, then you are about two steps ahead of the game when it comes to Tens or Better. This fun game from brought to you by King Solomon’s Casino is very similar to its sister game, with the only difference being the payout table, which is a bit more player-friendly.

Tens or Better Information

Tens or Better is a very simple, yet fun game whose presentation and easily graspable concept will have you playing for hours. As you probably guessed, this game is like Jacks or Better except that the minimum winning combination is a pair of tens.

How to play Tens or Better

Start by setting your bet denomination - the range is between $.01 and $5. You can then bet from one to five credits. So, the minimum bet is $.01 and the maximum is $25.

Click on 'deal' and you will receive your hand. You are then faced with five cards and the decision of which of the five card(s) you would like to keep. Once you submit your choice, you are dealt new cards for the cards you chose not to hold. You are then paid out in accordance with the pay table shown just above the cards themselves. Note that you must have at least a pair of tens or better to win any money, so bear that in mind when you're picking which cards to hold on to.

If you have made a winning hand, at the end of the game you are faced with a decision: Would you like to collect your winnings, try to double half of them or try to double it all? If you try to increase your winnings, you are dealt five cards with one card facing upwards and the others all face down. In order to double your winnings, you must select the card of the ones facing down that is equal to or greater than the one showing.

Well after trying all the Playtech's VPR here I could tell tat this game maybe gives you a more realistic chance of winning anything but in a conclusion I'm not willing to play at any of them in real money mode to be honest.
Just cant believe that in double rounds you have to beat a high card a lot more often than not, big house edge for me.
