So, you would like to add a casino tournaments monitor to your website that looks a bit like this? It's easy and free!

casino tournaments list

How do you get it?

  1. Register a Casino Listings user account and confirm the registration email.
  2. Log in and go to your account settings by clicking your user name at the top of the screen (left of the search box).
  3. Click on the "Webmaster Settings" tab and enter your details.
  4. The affiliate URLs and scripts tabs should become available after saving your details and you can follow the instructions from there.

Using your own affiliate URLs
Our tournaments script allows you to insert your own affiliate URLs, and you can restrict the list to only show casinos for which you have provided an affiliate URL if you like. It is also intelligent enough to work out that if a tournament is held at multiple different casinos and you only have an affiliate URL for one of them, then it will use the casino with your affiliate URL.

Customising the stylesheet
We have provided a couple of stylesheets to get you started. All major html elements are classed so that you can easily alter their appearance according to your own site's style and tastes. If you want to modify the css, just copy one of our examples and make whatever changes you want.

Translating the text

It sure is - VIP Slots is part of that group. If you would rather show English Harbour instead, make sure you remove your affiliate link for VIP Slots and only have one for English Harbour

Hello-
I would like to thank Casino Listings for the Tournament Live Feed. I would like to let anyone else who is using a Sparklit Active board forum know that there are some difficulties in posting. When entering the html code into your post ..be sure and turn off "word rap" in the upper right corner of html code page. Be aware that the text editor tends to bread up the code and corrupts it.

Thanks Again

Not as yet, but consider it requested - we'll add a feature to optionally limit the number of tournaments shown soon.

We have added a couple of requested features:
- a row limit option
- the option to hide some of the columns

You can edit these settings on the tournaments script tab in your user account.

I need some help, please. I have filled out the aff tags, etc.. and placed this tournament on a new page for testing before I make it live on my site.. I'm only showing 1 tournament!

What did I do wrong?

Under the webmaster setting, click on the tournament script tab. There you can shoose how many lines to display. Is there a number in there?

Yes you can put a number in there and that will be the maximum number of tournaments displayed in your feed. If you leave it blank it will just display all of them - however we found a bug with that and fixed it - your page looks good now.

Is it possible to only show slot tournaments by default so that users don't have to click "slots" to only show slot tournaments?

Not currently - but we'll see if we can add a text filter you can use to do just that.

Shouldn't take us too long. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have noticed that the script never shows the spin palace tournaments unless you only choose spin palace and no other casino. How come? Is there a way to fix this?

Hi calle81, I don't think that is the case. Spin Palace only has 1 or 2 tournaments a month that are exclusive to them - these will always show up as Spin Palace if you entered a URL for them, otherwise they won't be in your list at all.

Most of the rest are shared tournaments which are run across nearly all Microgaming casinos. You can make sure those ones will show up on your list as Spin Palace only if Spin Palace is the only Microgaming casino that you enter a URL for. If you have URLs for multiple Microgaming casinos then we just go with whatever comes out of the database first.

Non Microgaming tournaments should never show up as Spin Palace in your list. If that is happening please let us know because it would be a bug.

Ok, I understand it now, thanks for clearing up. I thought the tourneys for spin palace was exclusive. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi again, I noticed that the $5000 tomb raider slot freeroll on spin palace haven't showed up in the list. Will it be added?

calle81, you can do that using CSS on your site. If you look at the anchor element that contains the casino name, it has a unique code for each casino. e.g. spin palace is c109. So you can do something like:

/* This sets all the casino links to be blocks of a specific size and hides the text
table.cltrn td.casino a {
    display: block; width: 100px; height; 30px; text-indent: -999em; overflow: hidden;
}

/* This sets the image you want to use for a specific casino */
table.cltrn a.c109 {
    background: url(yourimage.png) no-repeat;
}

3jokers, it is in there now. The problem is the information we get from the palace group doesn't include how long the tournaments run for, so whenever they add a new tournament we have to manually enter the running time after checking the casino software.

Hello to Casino Listings Ed,
I am enjoying my time looking around your site. Very nicely done and quite informative.

A little lady I know asked me to come and see your Slot Tournaments monitor as she is determined she needs one for her site. It is indeed as impressive as she said it was. I am sure she will be sending me back over to get her the scripts. Thanks for making it available to other webmasters. Well Done.

Cheers,
Jonne

Thanks Ed,
The lady I mentioned has come over to register here. Her name is Laurie but may register as GGWLaurie. I wanted her to sign up thru your affiliate referral links to the casinos she does not already promote. She said she is having some difficulty and I am guessing that is because I already entered her sites address in my membership. Should I have her sign in here under my membership to complete the process? I can't/don't want to create affiliate accounts for her but she needs me to do the webpage design etc till she gets up to speed and can do it for herself which hopefully will not be too much longer. Smile

Thanks for your help.
Jonne

Don't worry if you have already signed up elsewhere, its not a problem.

I don't think we have any restriction on two different accounts having the same website in their profile, so that shouldn't be the trouble she is having.

Maybe there is a short between the driver and the steering wheel. Silent I'm just saying.
