in an notification email i received from CL the following link did not work;

Thanks cocacolakid you're right. Looks like its a bug in our software.

Until it is fixed you can simply click the other link in the email which takes you to the forum topic ("To read the comment and/or reply, follow this link:"). Then once there click the "Stop tracking" link underneath the first post in the topic.
