Casino Listings bug hunt. Earn CLChips!

683 replies • Last post

Fancy earning yourself some more CLChips?

Did you know that keeping all the review information we have on the site up to date is hard? It takes a lot of time and effort and the more casinos we review, the more time and effort to check that they are all up to date it requires, and so on. So we thought why not try a bit of crowdsourcing and reach out for the brains and knowledge of our members to help share the load?

Thus the Casino Listings Bug Hunt was born.

Here is how it is going to work. Any member who finds a piece of wrong or missing information on a review page gets a cookie. No, not a cookie, 5 CLChips. That's better than a cookie and you can always use them to buy cookies with an Amazon voucher from our shop if you want. I'm sure they sell cookies, they sell everything. Just to make that clear:

Find something wrong or missing = 5 CLChips in your account

Things to look out for in our casino reviews:
- Information in the summary column on the right side of the review pages, such as the software used, where the casino is located, year it was established, currencies, languages, and banking methods used.
- Contact information such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for casino support.
- Any withdrawal limits (usually found buried in T&Cs documents)
- Is the review text up to date and accurate in its statement of facts? Note it doesn't count if you just disagree with our opinion of a casino, nor if we have not actually reviewed the casino yet.
- Are we missing any jackpots that the casino offers?

Bonus offers and codes:
- Click "more info" on them and check we have the right wagering requirements listed.
- Are there any sign up bonuses that are wrong or missing? Bear in mind that sometimes you won't see a bonus if it is not available to people of your country.
- Note we generally only list the sign-up or welcome bonus, not the 3, 4, or 5 follow-up bonuses, so no prizes for telling us that we don't have them.

Other bugs:
- If you find a bug in the operation of the site or some other bit of wrong or incomplete information then let us know. We'll evaluate these on a case by case basis.

How to take part
1. Register for an account if you don't have one already.
2. Hunt them bugs.
3. Reply to this thread with your findings.

If you have read this far, then thank you - you are exactly the sort of person who will do well at this. If your eyes glazed over and you stopped reading already then... why am I even writing this sentence?

We will endeavour to pay the bug rewards once per week in a batch so we don't replace one administrative burden with another!

Note to clarify something that has come up a couple of times. If you find a single error that applies to every casino in a large group of casinos, it does not count as 20 errors for example. We'll look at these ones on a case by case basis and decide on what is an appropriate reward but we aren't going to simply multiply your reward by the number of casinos.

Well, this sounds like quite a challenge. And I did make it through the entire post. I think this is a great idea, and I hope you end up with many members participating. I will try my best. Is this ongoing or some type of deadline (as I will be leaving town soon for a little while and have limited internet access).

Great idea! 🙂

Today when I try to save a post there is some hesitation. It's like the system hangs. I was able to leave one post after trying several times. My second post would not save so not sure if this one will either.

This one saved fine, so maybe it was just a very temporary glitch. I will try some other posts to see if there is still a problem in the games area.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I was here last. http://www.casinolistings.com/forum/general/forum-games/15730/guess-who-... When I hit save the page just sits there. When I hit the back button sometimes my post is there and sometimes it's not. It's not returning me to the page after I hit save. I'm just in some neverland.

Are you still seeing a problem? I haven't noticed anything similar myself. It may have been temporary.

Actually scratch that, I just saw the exact same thing myself. I posted a comment and got a white screen, but when I refreshed the comment was posted anyway. Looking into it...

Thanks CL-Ed. The problem was short lived. I see some others had the same problem, because there are several duplicate posts.

Hi!
http://www.casinolistings.com/casinos/betfair-casino-review
there i writed 1000% up to 1000$ highroller bonus. Its not 1000% obviously, its just 100%.
Also in deposit methods there are not written webmoney while they accept it and it is very important payment method for russian speaking players.

http://www.casinolistings.com/casinos/unibet-casino-review
they also accept webmoney, which is not stated.
Sorry, i understand that its hard to keep such things tracked, and i did this not for CL points, just making mini-review, see something, post here.
Also another error here, they have much more softwares that typed there, they have so important like cryptologic and nextgen + few more, which i obviously not know, i am not so big specialist with softwares 😉

I noticed this one myself today when I was reading your review of the casino. I think they used to have that rule but changed it recently due to a few complaints. They still pay in instalments but they are much bigger than most Playtechs with the dodgy $10k per month rule.

belaff wrote:

Yes and looks like they have a whole heap of other payment options that we didn't have so we added them too.

Added, thanks.

Doctor Love. 🤢

I hate that game because it causes these sorts of problems. Its available on so many different platforms and versions that no-one can make any sense of it. You are right that it is made by NextGen originally, but it is available through Cryptologic (an older 9 line version), Microgaming Quickfire, GTS, OpenBet, Nyx and who knows who else (mostly a 20 line version). So we are kind of right in saying that Boyle uses OpenBet because that includes Dr Love and possibly some other NextGen games too.

Which Aristocrat games do they have? I can't see any there, but its possible they are hiding them from me because I'm in Australia and we aren't allowed to play them online even though they are made by an Australian company and I can play them in almost any pub or bar I go to. I'll have to visit them using my VPN.

Awesome work my friend, you have an extra 30 CLchips and I'll throw in another 5 if that Aristocrat thing checks out.

Actually we have this one right. The welcome bonus is also a monthly one that can be claimed every month for 2 years after joining. The 50% is for high rollers who deposit at least €1000 on their first deposit. Its all on their promos page.

When I click on 3Dice from here http://www.casinolistings.com/casinos/3dice-casino-review and click on play it sends me to neverland. I get a blank page with this address http://www.3dice.com/index.php?bannerid=211. Anyone trying to get there from here may be ending up in nowhere land as I did.
