Has anyone ever heard of this casino

7 replies • Last post

I got some snail mail from a casino I have never heard of but who's software I love, WGS.The casino is MyGoCasino and there site looks sudo legit. And there support is real, they have large tournaments and looking on there site there terms and conditions are well read. I was just wanting to see if anybody else has heard and or played at the casino. I couldn't find anything really on a google search. I have already played just haven't deposited there yet. Any info would be appreciated.

Hmm, that looks like a re-incarnation of the old Go Casino. It was one of several casinos in a group that ran Vegas Tech software (which has been renamed to WGS), and they all supposedly went out of business a few years ago, owing a lot of people a lot of money.

The website is the same, the logo is the same (only with the word "my" added), but I have no idea if it is the same people running it or someone trying to trade off their old reputation. I would avoid it to be safe as if it is the same owners in charge then you never know if they might do a runner again.

All the Vegas techs went out of business owing people money or just their group? The reason I ask is I love Miami club and intertops casino classic and hope that it wasn't the software company. Also I find it weird that I have never heard of them even to date. Like did they just reopen? Or have they been open for awhile and flying below the radar. But thanks for your answer it answered most of my questions.

All of the Vegas Tech casinos went out of business a couple of years ago. Some of them paid people out before they shut, some didn't. I don't know enough about who owned or ran the Vegas Tech software company to know who was ultimately responsible. But it was odd that different groups of seemingly unrelated casinos all closed down at roughly the same time. That suggests that their software supplier had something to do with it, or perhaps they were all owned by the software supplier. I don't know, I am just guessing.

More recently the software came back as WGS Technology and new casinos started to appear including Intertops Classic and Miami Club. The one you have found looks to be a carbon copy of one of the old ones that disappeared, only with a slightly different name.

I strongly suspect that the whole shut down thing was an exercise to try to distance the owners and operators from their decision to continue to accept American players and conveniently avoid paying some of their debts. I don't believe anything was sold or traded or taken over by new owners, other than a new company name ultimately owned by the same people. But seeing as they have gone to great lengths to conceal their ownership, both the WGS software and the casinos that license it, I can't prove anything.

Thanks for your question Mmvkhm. I have moved it to its own thread. If anyone has a question about a casino that doesn't have its own thread then please start a new one.
