Liberty Slots mailer

16 replies • Last post

Assuming this is NOT a good place, since they are soliciting me through the U.S. mail? They sent me a disc, a bonus offer and a no-deposit bonus offer. I don't think this is the first time I received this from the, either, if I am remembering correctly.

I don't see their name on any of the lists here, but I don't trust them already.

You actually might like them hope. They are using the same Vegas Tech software that the old English Harbour casinos used.

We have been trying to find out who is behind them though. The English Harbour folks claimed they were broke and shut down without paying all the bills. Now this new casino appears with a website that is obviously using a slightly modified template of the English Harbour site, with the same games, and suddenly all the old players are getting mailers and emails. It seems to us that it is the same people operating under a new name, but we can't be sure as yet because they have taken great pains to ensure no-one knows who is actually running the show.

Hmmmm....that is interesting. I have never played English Harbor, either, I don't think. Sometimes I forget who I used a no-deposit bonus with, because I tried out a few when I was new. I really don't think I used any offers from English Harbour.

I just don't like to know that SOMEONE online is selling my information. I wish when I entered my information to sign up for a casino I could be ensured that information is private.

Sure makes me wonder, too, when they are making "great pains" to hide their identity. I will have to think about possibly playing the free chip just for the heck of it....or not.

I really appreciate the information. 🙂

I got the same mail Hope. I myself loved English Harbour, but am not going to be making any deposits with Liberty Slots until I find out a bit more about them.

They also owned various other casinos such as Caribbean Gold, Millionaire Casino, Slots Galore, VIP Slots, and Super Slots. If you have played at any of them you're probably being mailed right now.

I must admit, I do love getting casino mail. Even though I rarely take advantage of the offers, it is still cool to get something.

I gave my two year old son his first "casino" when I handed him the CD. He's been occupied for a while with it. 🙂

Just letting everyone know that we have finished reviewing Liberty Slots. The quick verdict is that you're on your own if you play there as the casino does not appear to be licensed or regulated under any jurisdiction that we know of. Give it a miss.

How long until you think someone will crack the nut with them and actually find out where they are operating out of and where they are licensed? Their site can't keep it a secret forever, can they?

OR

Is this just a ploy to keep hidden until they can actually establish a license somewhere, where then they will proudly proclaim where they are licensed out of?

I just received a CD from Intertops casino with a free 50.00 no deposit bonus code. Have you tried this casino? I did read the review here, and they sound good from the information here, but just wanted to double check.

Thanks for the info on the other one, CL-Ed! 🙂

I got the same offer. I have used Intertops in the past as a sportsbook, and decided to try the chip.

My thoughts:

Its nothing special, just a mediocre RTG powered casino. I also didn't win anything, so I just moved onto the next casino. 😜

Intertops are ok as far as options for Americans go. If you can get your money in and out of there then they should be fine.

They almost certainly operate from Canada. The previous owners of Vegas Technology and the English Harbour group were from Canada, although the casinos were licensed in Antigua. The only places from which players are excluded from play there are Canada and a few individual U.S. states. This is a strong indication that their people are in Canada. Obviously they aren't licensed there though. I really don't think they have any kind of license at all, which to be fair is pretty much equivalent to being "licensed" in Costa Rica or Belize or Panama etc.

I assume they don't want to reveal anything because they are scared of the U.S. authorities. There is also a suspicion that it may be the exact same people who were running things before the English Harbour shut down and they just don't want anyone to know, but obviously this is difficult to prove.

So in other words, same old, same old, for us U.S. players? lol I might give it a try in between deposits, because I have to stick to my monthly entertainment budget, lol.

Ah hope, just dream one day if and when they finally see sense and regulate things in the States, you will have so many new casinos and games to choose from you won't know what to do with yourself.

I think I want to just move to the Caribbean or somewhere that I can just live in a mansion and do as I please...then I can play wherever I want.

Who wants to fund me?

LOL, you are probably right. I am probably better off with LIMITS right now, lol. I am just frustrated, because I don't see anything changing or moving forward. I have no hope or faith that this will happen anytime soon, but you are correct in saying I can DREAM. 🙂
