bad opinion on viva casino sofia bulgaria

i am in sofia for a month now , i will say clearly from all 5 land casinos i saw ,

Viva casino by the sheraton hotel , has given me the worst impression . the volume of music in the tables is high and annoying ,
dealers are greedy for tips in a non professional way, the atmosphere in general is heavy ,and the worst thing is that all players i talk too were on the loosing side . the ridiculous car in the entrance , the many promotions they held for tickets they give to players to put in the lottery box that draw 100 to 300 euro on special wednesdays times , the many workers/staff compares to a little number of players , the fact that they give credit loans to local bulgarian players in special blue slips , just made me write down this. no craps there , cut of the non automatic blackjack shoo is in the middle ,with a high minimum bet of euros .

Ouch, that sounds like a crappy casino to play at. Is there a large variety of casinos in Bulgaria? I am not too familiar with the country overall, but it sounds like this casino leaves something to be desired.

Guys,

I have wide experience of the casinos in BG & have even written about them (with my tongue firmly in my cheek) in newspapers

First things first Loko > you must be wary of all casinos in BG and east Europe generally. 80% of the people who own them would never get a gaming licence anywhere where the law actually means something but I will say no more on that subject

Having said that however I must admit I never saw any blatant cheating going on at the actual tables in the Viva or any of the other casinos in Sofia (but I agree that the management need a trip or two to charm schoo)l.

Maybe I ever saw anything though because the drinks were 98% proof and substantial....... I will never know I guess

Overall opinion on casinos in BG:>>

To win money
To have a good time
To see good looking croupier girls

Conclusion = Your wallet should be scared

I yesterday went to planet after accidental meetings near the university of sofia . i may dare to say Planet is worse than viva casino . i put another post . you get depression just by looking at the 97% male dealers . the only casino i dont feel scared in sofia so far is Rila . thank you

Haha excellent post Loko, I know exactly what you mean - the whole raison d'etre of a casino anywhere in East Europe is the dishy croupiers as no one ever wins any money haha, so if they are all male then what's the point...

Still its summer now, why not hit the coast and tell us how the casinos in Burgas or Varna, Sunny Beach or Golden Sands are doing? ie how many murders per year they are currently running at..

Having said that wish I had some ice cold rakia here right now
