Have You Ever?

Deja vu. Funny, because just like dreams for me, the older I get the less I get that feeling. I used to get it a lot, but rarely now, if ever.

As far as the street, I never lived on it, but there is a street in a town not far from me, and closer to where I used to live that had the same last name as mine. I used to drive by it every day, on my way to work, and I always thought it would be fun to live on the same street as my name. My last name is not extremely common, either, so it was kind of cool to see.

I am certain I have mispronounced many words. I remember when I was my parents' navigator, and we were approaching the town of "LaFayette." I used my phonics, and I told my parents we were going through La Fa Ah Tee and my parents laughed and mom teases me about this TO THIS DAY! lol

Another incident I remember is, years ago, my brother could not think of the word, "generic," and he kept saying, "genetric," and we got the giggles.

Have you ever drank so much alcohol that you blacked out?

Yes! lol I used my youngest son's by accident before, because they are in the same drawer. Shhhhhh.......lol!

Have you ever had to take someone's car keys away?

Well at least she did not get away or sneak out and try to drive away, LM!

Yes! And often these "earworms" are songs that I don't even especially like, lol! Drives me crazy. I can also drive others crazy by singing it and then getting it stuck in their heads, too, lol!

Have you ever watched a spectacular sunset over the water?

Yes I surely did when I was back home in the pacific.... it was so mesmerizing!

Have you ever seen UFO (Unidentified Flying Object)? If yes, what do you believe otherwise..?

Not that I recall, lol. If you are asking if I believe there are UFOs, I am kind of on the fence, although I have seen some strong arguments for there being something "out there," including testimony from astronauts who claim they saw UFOs. I try to keep an open mind, but part of me also won't "believe it 'til I see it."

Have you ever had to do CPR or the Heimlich Maneuver on someone?

Nope, I've seen a doctor done a CPR in the hospital when they called for: Code Blue!

Have you ever bought the Girl Scout cookies? What's your favorite? The price per box went up too!

Probably not! lol! Only if I was just staying overnight would I get by with one bag.

Have you ever witnessed a fight on the street or somewhere in public?

Wow, that is way too much excitement for me, LuckyMe! I have always wished for a very boring life, lol.

And, YES, I have forgotten my phone number. Especially my cell phone number, and I did that the other day. Oldest son asked for it, and I kept telling him the wrong number and he knew it. I kept insisting it was right then the right number popped into my head, lol. No one remembers numbers anymore, I realized, because they save them in their phones. When something goes wrong with the phone they lose everything, because they only have to punch one number to dial most people and no reason to memorize numbers anymore.

Have you ever had a crazy craving for some food you normally do not especially like or normally want to eat?

Bump!

You never had a craving when you were preggers? lol I had a few strange ones during those times.

Well, I have wanted to break things out of anger, but I don't think for the fun of it. I remember when the recession first started, these people set up a place where people could pay a small fee to break plates when they lost a job or could not find a job, or if they lost money in other ways from the recession, and people actually paid to go break plates. I thought that was a pretty smart idea, and THEY made some extra $$.

Have you ever lost your keys or glasses/sunglasses and found them in a funny or strange place?

Yes, I have been really disappointed and have some regrets in my life, but I try to look to the future. Mainly I am disappointed when I have something planned I am looking forward to, and I get sick or something and can't carry through with my plans.

Have you ever been admitted to the hospital (not counting child birth)

No,never nothing like this happened with me ever.

Yes, I often want to just be quiet and not say a word....but my boys would probably say not very often, lol. I feel like this many times in the morning while I am still waking up.

Have you ever had a close call while riding in or driving a car?

No. In fact most of the time we are the only ones in the theatre or us and one other party of people. Theatres are pretty dead these days!

Have you ever given money to a stranger? (I might have already asked this, and if I did I apologize in advance, lol)

Not that I recall, lol. That would be embarrassing.
