For me, I will be happier living near family so this involves a move.

I will also be happier when I can afford to move. I do not care for apartment living. I would love to own, or even to rent, a townhome again. I miss my townhouse.

I will be happier when living closer to relatives in a house in the country so I don't have any bad neighbors close by. I like to live on all one level anymore. After having a problem with my hip and my dogs not being able to walk up stairs.

Oh yeah, this would make me happier too! If the jackpot was big enough I would buy a house.

I, too, have thought of a one-level townhome, although I did like my upstairs bedroom and loft at the previous one. However, that would work for me AND for Otis, who is not supposed to "do" stairs, so I have to carry him up and down stairs. We had to put baby gates at the stairs at the townhome, lol. (Because he CAN "do" stairs, but as a preventative for his back issues we don't allow him to).

Being independently wealthy would make me VERY happy, because I would have time for all the fun things I want to do, too. (Hobbies and read all the books I want to read!) I would love to help family and friends and even strangers. I could travel like I never dreamed of before and even go on my first cruise.

I could practice one of my favorite quotes, "Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves." James M Barrie

Having money to help others would make me happy too. I think of those Kiva loans and how people live in other countries. A lot of those people live on less than $2.50 a day. I would be making a lot of loans to those people.

I always wanted to start a no-kill pet shelter because of my love for animals. It drives me crazy that people are homeless in the U.S. too. I would like to do something to help those people too, not just here but everywhere.

Something tells me we would part with our money too quickly, lol! I have thought the same about a no-kill shelter...there can never be enough. Cats have it even harder, because there are so many and people will not do the right thing by getting them "fixed."

I have always wanted to start a "disabled dachshund" shelter where the dachsies who have back problems could get free surgery and rehabilitation AND stay with their owners if they chose to keep them. I would also provide the little carts for those who needed them to get around. I would hire animal lovers for when I wanted to travel.

We would have to find a way to make our money grow so that we could invest in the charities we would like to help. That's a great idea Hope. I'm sure some animals have to be put down because people can't afford the surgeries.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it so you could be PAIN FREE FOR LIFE, Lucky Me!

A great massage would make me happier. It's been awhile since I've had one. If no procrastination came in a box, I would buy it for you. Smile

TY LM! Smile
Oh, that would make me so happy, because I have NEVER had a professional massage, and I have always wanted one!

I am craving sugar and cinnamon toast right now, so I THINK that would make me happy, and I might go make some, lol.

Also, a new (preferably pillow top!) mattress would REALLY make me happy, too! My mattress sucks, and my hips have no fat on them, and since I am a side sleeper, I just lie on one hip until it hurts then turn over until the other hurts and toss and turn like that all night long! Sad

My mattress is about 11 years old. It's still very comfortable but I think it's time to buy a new one the next time we move. Some new furniture would make me happier. I always wanted one of those sleigh beds. Ho, ho, ho.

lol! Too funny. I have turned my mattress every which way and a million times. I think mine is almost that old, and I bought cheap (after the fire) so guess what I got? Yup! Smile I can't even dream of new furniture. I am just happy to have what I have, but it would be fun to decorate how I WANT to decorate someday. That would make me happy. Smile

I'm not saying I have the money for new furniture but if I did that would make me happy. Having someone decorate my new house would make me happy. Smile

It's so ironical that half of the universe suffers from obesity and another half - from starvation :|

There are times I feel guilty eating my food while knowing others are going hungry. I think of all the humanitarian aid that is sent to other countries. Whose pockets does that money end up in?

We do have to be careful about who we send our money to and research these places very well. I like to give to those I know spend the least on administrative costs, etc., and give the most to the intended cause.

Today, what would make me very happy would be some sunshine, even if it is cold out, because the sky is very dark and dreary. Sad

Sounds like a good think that would make us both happy. I say we need 8 hours of good Colorado sunshine, with the beautiful mountains to look at. Smile
