What do you do for fun when you aren't gambling?

I love being around nature, walking in the woods. One of my favorite things to do is taking nature photos.

I love going to garage sales, flea markets and antique stores because you never know what you will find. Earlier this year I bought a huge lot of jewelry for $30 mainly because the lady was tired of having the sale. I found a 14k necklace in the lot plus a lot of sterling silver!

Great idea for a thread, LM! 🙂

When I am not gambling, I like to spend time with my family, as much as I can, but I also value my "alone time." In the summer, I love walking the dog, being outdoors, going to the beach/lakes and visiting my mom up north. I like to camp at least once per year.

Other than that, I lead a pretty boring life in the winter. I like to watch movies, listen to good music and read a lot of good books. I like attending concerts, but I don't do that as often as I used to.

I taught myself to knit a few years back, but I haven't been doing that as much as I should, and I like jigsaw puzzles, while I am watching TV, etc., I just put my first one up in a long time, a few days ago. I don't really have room for them, so it is on the edge of the kitchen table, so I hope no one loses the pieces for me, lol.

All in all, I am a fairly lazy person, especially in the winter time.

This reminds me of a story. My boyfriend and I had worked on a huge puzzle for many hours. We came to find our cat resting comfortably on top of the puzzle. Unfortunately she must have stretched out many times. :'( The puzzle was so messed up we just put it away. Who knows. Maybe she was trying to help us. Kitty paws just aren't as dexterous as human paws.

Oh my goodness, that is so cute. I imagine the kitty trying to help with the puzzle, but he/she just messes it all up in the end, so he/she stretches out on it to cover up his/her mess. haha! I never even thought of that, though, because Olivia DOES like to go on the kitchen table a lot, and that is where I tried to set up the puzzle. I better watch her, so she doesn't try to help. Yikes!

Is that 14k in dollars?

No, I wish. It's probably worth a couple of hundred dollars. Plus I probably found a couple hundred in silver.
