Best cashback bonuses

Cashback promotions are, for all intents and purposes, a rebate that a casino pays its customers on losses and/or wagering that they accrue while playing in the casino. These offers are different from (and in some cases in addition to) the generic comp points program that most casinos run that effectively pay a fraction of a percent of each wager made in the casino back to players. Similar to a regular deposit bonus, these offers vary wildly in value and quality depending on various factors including the frequency of cash back payments, and whether the casino enforces wagering requirements, restrictions, or other limits on the payments.

How to pick a good cashback deal

Online casinos have all sorts of different rules and regulations governing cashback payments, so it is wise to do your research and shop around a bit first before jumping in and taking the first seemingly juicy offer that comes your way. These are the most common things to look for when evaluating a cashback deal, and we have factored them into our ranking algorithm that displays the table above:

  • How often is the cashback paid? Some casinos pay their rebate on a daily schedule, based on the previous day's play. Others do it on a weekly or monthly basis. If you're someone who likes to play regularly then a daily cashback is going to be more attractive, but if you're more a weekend player for example, then a weekly deal may be adequate for your needs.
  • Are there any wagering requirements? Unlike almost all percentage match bonuses, the best cashback deals often have no, or minimal, wagering requirements. This gives you the opportunity of just withdrawing the rebate without playing any more if you don't want to, or otherwise "free-rolling" without being locked in should you hit a big win.
  • Are there any limits to the cashback? There are casinos that will offer a high percentage cashback (even up to a full 100%), but limit the amount you can claim to a low cash figure, such as €20. On the other hand, you can find low percentage deals with high or even no limits which, in the long run, can give you a significant boost to your payback percentage.
  • Other caveats to look out for. We have seen some cash back deals where the casino will only pay the rebate if you have lost the entire amount of your deposit, so if you deposited for example €200 and withdrew €100, you would not be paid cashback on the €100 you lost. Make sure that you are aware of any conditions like these, so there are no unexpected and unpleasant surprises.
