Jackpot Capital Unfairly Confiscated My winnings (resolved)

10 replies • Last post

Jackpot Capital unfairly confiscated my winnings and failed to follow its own rules. The other day, I deposited $51 and claimed a 100% bonus. I was playing between $1.25 and $2.50 per spin. I won $2050 on $2.50 spin on Football Frenzy. (I posted that picture on the winning thread). In any event, after that, I increased my wager and bet mostly between $5.00 to 6.25 per spin in order to meet my wagering requirements quicker. Jackpot Capital records show that during that time, I also made 47 bets at $12.50 per spin for a total of 587.50. Out of that I won 208.50. It turned out that they had a rule that on a bonus you cannot bet over $10 and that any money made from such bet will be voided.

Guess what, Instead of voiding the $208.50 that I made from these bets, Jackpot Capital confiscated all of my winnings. If they had followed their own rules, they would have voided the $208.50 that I made and pay me. It seems that they are just trying not to pay. Their rules as they mentioned below say that " Any winnings plus bonus amounts derived from such bets will be voided." Instead they voided my entire winnings.

Dear XXX,

Thank you for your patience regarding your payout of $1130.

Unfortunately, this payout was denied as you have not upheld our max bet rule:

Promotional Terms and Conditions:
Max bet rule for all bonuses = $10.00. Any winnings plus bonus amounts derived from such bets will be voided.

We have denied your payout and voided your winnings and your bonus. We have credited your deposit of $51.15 back to your account.

Should you require any further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Hi folks I just received an email from Jackpot Capital stating that they would go ahead and pay after deducting the winnings made from the $12.50 bet.

I got caught up on a similar technicality at Uptown Aces, but they eventually paid out, which was good. Glad to see it worked out for you and you will at least get something from them!

barbadosslim93,

At first, I was disappointed in them, because I really admire this group. After they reversed their decision, I realized that they are trying to be fair and sometime in the process, when mistakes happen, they are willing to correct it.

I am glad that common sense prevailed and that they decided to pay you. Many (dare I say most?) other casinos would not have paid you at all, so well done to Jackpot Capital.

Once again this is where I start complaining about how casinos that want to have bet size limits should use their software to restrict you from making invalid bets. Then this sort of thing would never happen in the first place. I am sure we all know why they don't do it though. Come on casinos, it is 2015!

You are right Ed. The thing is I made all of these bets on two games. I thought I was playing $6.25 per spin and I didn't intend to play $12.50 per spin.

This. You made the point I really want to see software providers enabling for the casinos. We can put a man on the moon and grow human ears on rats but we can't limit bet size amounts on bonuses?!? Get real.

Oh geez I just googled "human ear on a rat". Now that would be an interesting theme for a slot machine...

...er maybe not.

Did someone really put a human ear on a rat? Was the goal to make the rat hear better or to maim the human? It sounds like a horror movie.

Yes indeed. I think it was an experiment aimed at regrowing tissue to be transplanted onto someone who either lost an ear or was born without one. The rat kept the ear "alive" while it was growing. I'm not sure why they couldn't just do that on the side of the person's head or leg or something. Maybe that is the next step.

Yeah in hindsight I realise that really doesn't sound much better at all does it! 🤢

But I do like your idea of making the rat hear better! We could have plagues of super rats with giant human ears that are impossible to catch because they can always hear us trying to sneak up on them.

Having super rats with giant human ears still sound like a horror movie. When I was a kid, I watched a movie about ants eating scraps from a radioactive plant and became giant ants feeding on humans. I still remember that movie decades later. I don't want to think about rats doing the same thing.
